Product Description
Reactive α-Al₂O₃ Micropowder produced by Kaifeng Gaoda Refractories Co., Ltd. is made by first calcining first-grade industrial alumina and aluminium hydroxide into reactive α-Al₂O₃ with addition of special additives and adoption of low-temperature phase conversion technology, and then adopting advanced grinding technology and process. It has high activity, high fineness and excellent particle shape (nearly round). It is the ideal raw material for making various monolithic refractories. Thanks to its high activity and high fineness, it can reduce the firing temperature and improve high-temperature properties and other indicators, particularly for shaped products.

II. Features of Reactive α-Al2O3 Micropowder
1. High Purity: Content ≥ 99%
2.Superfine: Particles smaller than 1 μm account for approximately 60%.

III. Excellent Properties of Reactive α-Al2O3 Micropowder
1.Low water absorption: Low water absorption rate shortens the hardening time of castables.
2.Excellent flowability: It reduces the water demand of monolithic refractories such as castables and improves the workability of castables.
3.Fillibility: It fills pores and voids in aggregates of different gradations, lowers the porosity of castables, and boosts their bulk density and strength.
4.Binding property: It enhances the early strength, medium-temperature and high-temperature strength of castables, and compensates for the post-firing linear change caused by medium-temperature shrinkage.
5.Sinterability: It is easy to sinter, reduces sintering temperature, promotes sintering and yields high (post-)sintering strength.
6.Good high-temperature properties: Superior refractoriness under load and high-temperature flexural strength, small post-firing linear change, excellent high-temperature volume stability.

What is the regular packaging for products?

Regular packaging is available in 1-ton jumbo bags or 25kg small bags. Customized packaging and LOGO printing are supported.

How to select reactive alumina micropowder?
A
Our reactive alumina micropowder is available in three grades including GD370, Type A, Type B as classified by varying fineness degree. Grades can be selected according to usage requirement.

What are the differences among different grades of fused calcium aluminate cement?
A
Cement grades are classified by alumina content and are AL-71, AL-75, AL-80, AL-85 and AL-90. Appropriate grades can be selected according to operating conditions.
